Data Deletion

If you are signed in: open Profile, then use the account deletion (withdrawal) option and confirm. This permanently deletes your account and triggers removal of associated data per our data retention practices and applicable law.

If you cannot use the in-app flow, email support@youclan.io from the address associated with your account.

Include: (1) subject line such as “Data deletion request”, (2) your registered email or user identifier if available, (3) a brief description of your request.

For Meta or Instagram data deletion, include that you want to delete Instagram connection data and, if known, the connected Instagram username or the clan where the connection was used. We will delete or invalidate stored Instagram access tokens and remove associated imported curation metadata where required by law and our retention practices.

We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before processing.

We aim to respond within a reasonable period defined by applicable law (often up to 30 days for many requests, subject to local requirements). Complex requests may take longer; we will notify you where required.

Some information may be retained where we have a legal obligation, need to resolve disputes, or ensure security (for example, aggregated logs or records required by tax or accounting law).

If imported social content is part of a clan feed, we may first hide or detach it while the deletion request is verified, then remove the related personal data according to applicable law and platform requirements.
